Chi-town Bikes
Bikes and Bikes and Bikes oh my!!!
I love seeing so many bikes downtown, I myself try to keep things as eco friendly as possible and love the idea of biking places. When I lived in Virginia I had just a bike for transportation for a few months. Would bike an average of 30 miles a day and absolutely loved it. Actually as I started uploading the pics for this post I decided to jump on mine and bike around for a bit.
I decided what better mini series to shoot then the various bikes that are available in downtown Chi-town. There were plenty to choose from, however I obviously have a certain style that I am drawn to, and like them to have a hint of uniqueness that may lend a bit of their owners story.
Enjoy what Im sure marks the biggest mini series I’ve featured yet.
Thats it! I’m going for a bike ride!
Haha, glad I can inspire you Debbie! š
That 1st and 3rd one are just amazing. Fantastic photos.
Thanks Filipe!
Great shooting!
Hey thanks Brent!
Lovin the bike series! š
Thanks Shannon! š
Love the Yellow Cab reflected in the bike’s mirror.
Thanks man! I liked that one as well. I walked around for two hours trying to find a bike with a mirror that was reflecting the Sears Tower to capture it in a sense I had never seen before. Turns out thats a more difficult of a task then it sounds haha
Great set!!! Fabulous compositions. The bikes in these shots have their own personality (or reflect the personality of their owners?). š
Exactly, its crazy to see how unique each one can be isnt it! Thanks Santi š
Great detail in these shots. Now I miss my bike š
I just got mine back in working condition, so I was missing mine for a while too! Thanks Gina
i bike likes š
Thanks Alessandro!
Great. My favorite is the bike wheel & the manhole cover. It a great composition and I love the symbiosis of the two circles. Thumbs up!!
Thanks Shez, one of my favorites as well! I think Im going to get the first one printed tonight in order to use up this empty matted frame I have laying around haha.
Nice Nick, I love the diversity of the bikes and images!
Hey thanks Kolman š
Love your bike series pictures. Great Job! Beautiful city…my hometown.
Hey thanks Beth! What a great hometown, so much to explore š
Great shots as usual Nick. It loks really busy there. š
Extremely busy, and to think this was just mid day on a weekday. I wonder how their saturdays look haha. Thanks Sonel!
Oooh – love bike shots – these are great – I think we only got a couple of bikes in our Chicago pics but these are inspiring! š
Thank you! We had a lovely day to explore the town didn’t we! The bikes were definitely out and about. haha
