Porsche in the woods
I know I’ve said it before, but I absolutely love this time of year!! As a car guy summer time weather is much appreciated after a long winter season, especially now that I have a new means of celebrating and capturing the beauty of these wonderful automobiles.
We found this gorgeous Porsche 911 turbo down a windy road parked just outside the entrance to a nature trail. Before embarking into the trail itself to see if I could spot any forms of wildlife, I of course had to take time to shoot this animal of a ride from various different angles, most of which involved lying on the ground covering myself in the leaves, dust and other allergy inducing particles that the trees so generously dispersed throughout the area haha.
As a kid growing up I had many toy models of this car, and always dreamed of owning one myself when I grew up. These days I would have to say there have been a few dream cars that managed to work their way in front of this one in the line up of “must own” cars of the future. However I would still be extremely happy if this were in my garage!
What could be more beautiful – a Porsche and a woodlands scene.
Exactly Richard 🙂 Thanks
Nick, I’ve also got a few “must haves”(mostly based on styling) in front of the 911, however after a unforgettable ride in one driven by a true Porsche afficionado in Italy at break neck speeds down tree lined roads, passing traffic by driving down the middle of the road, I would never pass one up..truly an amazing machine.
Sounds like fun! Looks like I am on the search for a true Porsche aficionado to experience a similar ride haha. Thanks for the comment Howard! Great to see others out there enjoying these wonderful automobiles as well 🙂
not a lot would get ahead of this one for me, I’m not a huge fan of the watercooled porches on an asthetic level but these older cars are stunning, if you’re after some Porsche porn have a look at http://singervehicledesign.com/ set up and run by the brother to Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickenson they build what has to be some of the classiest cars on the road today despite being totally unafordable.
Wow they do some fantastic restorations! Thanks for sharing Rob 🙂
Absolute classic – it was a difficult but rewarding car. Great angle – makes that beauty look quite menacing!
I agree Carlos! Thanks for the comment 🙂
LOL!!! I can just see you rolling around on the ground covered in leaves! I bet you were trying to camouflage yourself so you wouldn’t scare that big animal of a ride away right? 🙂
Hahaha, yes thats exactly what I was trying to do. That or camouflage myself incase the owner walked up wondering why I was snapping shots of his baby lol. Thanks Cindy
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Yeah.. its that kind of story that brings a lot of us PCar guys together.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! My brothers and I hoarded toy “hot mobiles” when we were little, and loved trading our cars with each other. 🙂
My friends and I were the exact same way 🙂 Thanks Blaze!
Great photo. That brand has never hit my hot button. But I would trade you one for a Lambo, Jag or vintage Mercedes. 😉
Im sure I will be able to capture a few of those this summer 🙂 Thanks Shez
I’m like you… I used to love Porsche but many others have take over… I’ll take anything though 🙂
Yea I definitely wouldnt turn one down if I had the chance haha. Thanks Bashar 🙂
