Evening Carriage Ride
Nice relaxing evenings… hasn’t really been the case around here haha. This time of the year is truly a busy time for me, with the Charities big fundraiser coming up in about a week and a half, and some nice sized design projects going on at the same time it puts me into some odd hours. I wouldn’t want it any other way to tell you the truth! I love momentum, and with the projects that will be coming up this summer as well as the excitement I have in store for Nick Exposed I can use all the momentum I can get π . So I do apologize ahead of time for any missed descriptions or delayed post in the next week or two. I will try my hardest to have the time set aside that you.. my Fantastic blogging friends deserve.
However, being part of my job is to actually be on Facebook (managing different fan pages for clients) I do tend to keep up on the Nick Exposed Facebook Page,Β posting inspiration, ideas, contests, behind the scenes goodies and much much more. Oh yea.. and did I mention Contests!!! (On a side note I got confirmation the other day that our last contest winner has received his prized signed copy of David DuChemin’s “Photographically Speaking”. I will try and get him to send a pic of him flaunting his book of golden knowledge as I like to call it.. Great book by the way highly suggest checking it out! End of side note). So yea, if you haven’t gone over and hit that little like button… well your missing out on one hell of a party. No, really there balloons and cake… Β Alright this paragraph has gotten out of control! Just go over there follow the page to join in on the fun. Also, I get asked quite a bit what my thoughts are on people posting links to their work on the page. I strongly, strongly SUGGEST it! We’re working towards building a community of engaged creatives, cant do that if its only me posting stuff π
Now back to the picture π I really enjoy this scene as it does give me a bit of a relaxed feeling as I think about how much fun a horse drawn carriage ride would be through the streets of downtown. I love seeing a couple traveling down the streets all snuggled up next to each other in the back of one of these carriages.. How calming and romantic! The sounds of the city fade away as you hear the gentle click-clacks of the hoofs as a gentile steed carries you through the streets and cobble stone back alleys. I love that our little city has these carriage rides, as they truly hold a great part in transforming the busy hussle and bussle of the city day into the relaxing scene which is the city nightlife. Even a sliver of the scene caught by my lens helps to bring me down to a relaxing ease to break away from my busy busy days.

Nice touch, that umbrella just hanging there.
I know it right Victor, the umbrella is strangely what made the scene for me in the first place. Thanks
