My first thought when I looked at this shot was how it captures everything – colours, shapes, textures, lines, mood, and it makes me wonder. I love it!!
The colors in the sky against the earth are glorious.
The rocks remind me of the Inukshuk, a communication device used by the Inuits in the arctic to inform other travelers of the area. (http://www.inukshukgallery.com/inukshuk.html) I doubt that’s really what these rocks represent, but it’s fun to think that someone was trying to communicate through an ancient rock system. 🙂
Thanks Dezra! Thats interesting it does look like the Inukshuk doesn’t it, I love when these kinds of things are brought to my attention! 🙂 Thanks again
Thanks Jay! It was by luck that I ran into these rocks! But thats what happens when you drive around and intentionally get lost when looking for a good subject to shoot during sunset 🙂
Beautifully done!
Thank you 🙂
What? Where? Why? Such a great photo, but it asks so many questions. 🙂
Haha, thanks Shez! I still have no clue how I stumbled onto these rocks! Good find though 🙂
PS The sky is amazing, it is the stones that are begging the questions.
🙂
Amazing photo!

I can see that, but the colors of the sky drew me in so I had to keep that element 🙂
