Break in the Rhythm
I have been so excited over the last few days!! The snow has melted and the temperature has risen enough to be a bit more comfortable running around outdoors wielding the camera. The mood is starting to change as everyone is eager to be outdoors to enjoy the break in weather.
With the change in weather has also came a change in work load. Im still catching up on projects from last week and plowing through the projects for this week as well as I can. With that comes only short bursts of openings to get in my daily photo walks, so I have had to resort into turning every jaunt to the store or other errands into a prowl of not only productivity but also heightened awareness of the scenes awaiting to be captured around my small town outside the city. Which brings us to todays photo… This scene was a result of finding this pole to be purely interesting. Every other pole is naked throughout town, however this pole is not only painted but also decorated with these beautifully grunge caution markers, as if its saying “Slow down and look at me wont ya” (Said in the Ed Bassmaster voice if anyone gets the reference :). I love coming across things I haven’t seen before, especially things that are bold enough to stand apart from the rest. Its a breathe of fresh creative air when something as simple as this breaks the rhythm of the norm, it reminds the mind to be free and think outside the stat quo induced box.
A sharp eye you surely have!
Thanks Hermann π
Great colours and shapes π
Thanks Filipe!! Always love hearing your thoughts π I’ve been loving your pics from Costa Rica, especially the landscape!! Absolutely stunning scenery.
Great composition and use of colour, textures and lines!!
Thanks Santi! Nice to see you popping up more and more in here! I loved your pic from spain with the elderly man shading his eyes from the sun! Wonderful
Springtime is so inspiring! I like the symmetry, composition, and color!
I agree Christine! So much new life and energy in so many ways. Thanks for the Kind words π
Nice tension between the abstract and the everyday. Great stuff.
Thanks Richard! Well put π
Love the colour pop & symmetry of this shot. I shudder to think about snow this late in the year, though… it’s supposed to be 74 here today. π
Just thinking about 74 degrees brings a smile to my face! Im definitely a warm weather kind of guy haha. Thanks for the comment π
Beautiful picture. π
Thanks Francis!
Excellent!
Thanks Cee!
Nice framing Nick. The pic definitely has an hdr feel to it, good hdr.
Thanks, thats probably because it was a cloudy day so the dynamic range was pretty well covered. Its a single exposure with a good deal of Clarity added which is probably what gives you that feel. Thanks for the kind words π
Excellent Nick.
Sharpness is so good! Love the lines and colors, so good π
Thanks Havard! π
