Thank You Photoshop Guys!

So I woke up this morning with an exciting email in my inbox informing me i had WON the weekly drawing on NAPP and Kelby Trainings weekly photoshop show Photoshop User TV with the hosts “The Photoshop Guys”!! So Awesome!! I watch the show every week and even without winning anything I have been a raving fan, not just of this show but of all Scott Kelby’s weekly podcast shows and the Kelby Training program! But before going into all that I should share the excitement of what I won 🙂

I won 3 of onOne SoftwaresPhotoshop and Lightroom plugins, each worth around a hundred bucks a piece! (All photos below taken directly off onOnes site)

The beauty is even though I have some of onOnes software that I absolutely love, I didn’t have any of these 3 and have been eye balling them for a while now. They should be arriving in the mail soon and I will let you guys know my thoughts on the products. This is something I have in my agenda is doing reviews of the different programs I use in my daily workflow with photography, design and all other things creative. I do suggest you check out onOnes Plug-ins as I can attest to the ones I have already they are top notch. They have free 30 day trials on all their plug-ins and its worth checking out.

Now onto my raving about Kelby Media group, and by the way me posting this is not part of the deal of me winning. But this is a training that comes up in just about every face to face conversations with other designers and photogs. You’ve probably seen me talk about it in past posts as the new training I switched to this last year as well as in some of my comments responding back to you AWESOME followers! But I just cant get enough of Kelby Training and the rest of their goodies they have.

So who is this Scott Kelby and what is this Kelby Training I keep talking about.

Scott Kelby is the President of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), they’re the people who put together Photoshop world, Photoshop User Magazine and used to have Layers Magazine until it was discontinued. Scott is a phenomenal Photography and Photoshop trainer himself, and as if that wasn’t enough he put together the Kelby Training Media Group! I am literally blown away each week by the amount of FREE content they put out there for those who share the creative passion bug! Kelby Media is split into two different sections. First is Kelby Training, a paid yearly membership to online workshops with the industries experts in Photography, Adobe Software, Graphic Design, Digital Painting and soo much more. Then theres Kelby TV a weekly online broadcast of 8 training shows ranging anywhere from a massive hour long talk show on the latest and greatest gear, trends and other hot topics in the industry, to Photoshop and Lightroom specific shows. One of my favorite shows is DTown tv that covers everything under the sun on DSLR cameras! The great thing is their free shows host tips and tricks given by their instructors on Kelby Training. And each week the shows offer chances to win cool UP TO DATE (not last years stuff) gear, software and books from the latest and greatest in the industry!

Here are just a few of my all time favorite Instructors from Kelby Training. Chances are your familiar with their work.. and if your not, you should be 🙂

Jay Maisel Living legend, I could watch his stuff all day long and continue to be inspired
Jeremy Cowart  Rockstar in the world of Entertainment Photography
Joe McNally  True master when it comes to flash photography. Joe has shot for everything ranging from Time, Newsweek, Fortune Magazine to 23 years with National Geographic magazine
Cliff Mautner World renowned wedding photographer
And so many more! You can check out the rest of the Trainers as well as the courses here

I would have gotten around to posting this recommendation whether I won anything or not, I absolutely love the in depth training, as well as the outrageous amount of free content they bring to the table on a weekly basis! I cant say enough good things about Scott and what he has put together and can only suggest you run over there and check it out.

Im excited to hear if any of you have had the pleasure of either using the products Ive won above, or share my enthusiasm for this wonderful training group.
