New Site!!

Nick Exposed

Well its finally here!!

As Im sure many of you have noticed by now the site just went through a complete overhaul this weekend, which I must say was quite an exciting yet pain in the… rear (yea we’ll go with that) task!

So… what does this mean for you… the awesome community of Nick Exposed?!? A LOT!!

First of all you may notice that the site has moved to a more community based design. I will continue to bring my Daily Exposures each day for your viewing pleasure, however I will also be focused on bringing in additional contributors, inspiration, tutorials, community projects, contests and a wealth of other awesomeness!

Now that the site is being self hosted, I have a much wider flexibility to offer better galleries for our Community Collaboration Projects, Interactive Contests and drawings, as well as a few other goodies to add some value to your Nick Exposed experience :)

I also have the ability to open up the Nick Exposed Store section when the upcoming photography inspired Shirts and other Apparel become available, as well as off you awesome deals and discounts from some of my absolute favorite Photography and Creative learning sources.

  • A quick note on that: You may notice the addition of a few adverts down the right side of the blog. With the redesign I reached out to two of my, personal favorite, photog training sites requesting a site sponsorship. I do not and will not sell any subscriber info to these or any other service. They are there to help fund the site as we continue to grow, so that we may continue to bring bigger and better collaboration projects, as well as more kick ass contest prizes! These are training sites that I personally invest my own time and money in, and truly believe in their product line. As I bring new product and training reviews to the site, I will continue to bring forth my honest opinions (good and bad), and all suggestions will be sincere. :) On a less serious, but exciting, note these also allow me to bring you deals and discounts when available! Win Win!!

One of my favorite additions to the site is going to be the open spots for YOU… yea you… other creatives to post to the creative community! Im looking for inspired creative photographers to join the Nick Exposed team (and no your name doesn’t have to be Nick, although that would be cool ;) ) and bring new ideas and inspiration to the community. If your interested feel free to email nick@nickexposed.com or keep your eye’s peeled for a Contributor link to appear at the top of the page, by the contact link, within the next week or two.

Lastly while were on the subject of promoting new stuff… Be sure to check out the new Twitter page @NickExposed, and follow along with the NE Instagram Account @NickExposed.

I hope your as excited about the new site as I am, and if you have any questions or suggestions for what you would like to see brought to the community leave it in the comments below.

So does this mean that you will post all of your stuff here rather than wordpress (which would be a good thing)?

    • Yea, I just moved the site from wordpress.com to a wordpress.org self hosted account.

        Ah, roger that.

  • Wow Nick, this is so exciting!! I’m very impressed because I don’t know where you find the time for all this awesomeness!!

    • Hey Cindy, to be honest I don’t know either hahaha. But I do and will continue to invest more and more time into my own photographic interests as well as the interest of my awesome viewers/community :) Thanks

  • Do I need to resubscribe?

    • I dont think so, WordPress assured me all my subscribers have been moved over. But if you want to just for safe measure I would understand ;)

  • Wow! I really like the new look of the site – great layout and very clean interface. Congratulations, Nick, on making our viewing experience even more enjoyable.
